Basic MIG Welding This program introduces gas metal arc welding and flux core arc welding processes. Topics include equipment set up and fillet and groove weld with emphasis on application of GMAW and FCAW electrodes on steel plate, as well as basic welding measurement and print reading. Upon completion, students will have the knowledge base to seek employment as entry level MIG welders.
