According to a spokesperson from the mayor’s office, New York City has seen an influx of 2,000 to 2,500 asylum seekers a week. The city is now at a point where it says there is no room left and help from the federal government is desperately needed. A man stabbed a pit bull to death in Central Park following a quarrel with the dog's owner. The seriously-injured dog was transported to a local animal clinic, where he was euthanized after the Saturday stabbing evening, police said. No arrests were made as of Sunday. An investigation was ongoing and the suspect is still on the loose. PIX11’s Katie Corrado reports on local dog owners' reactions.
