The Truth of Cowboy Crocs

Ever noticed how crocs🐊 can be different colours? I find that the ones that spend most their life in the billabongs become much darker than the beautiful olive mottled ones from the salt. When you see one in the salt like this, you know they were evicted from the swamps by other crocs. It’s the same with barra… the ones that grow up in the swamps or fresh become a darker colouration with black or dark grey tail fins, and the ones that grow up in the salt are glistening silver with golden fins!
