Following this event, Red Bull and Ford formalized and presented their new agreement to compete as a team in the 2026 Formula 1 season. ​​The event was held in the city of Detroit, at Ford's headquarters. The RB22 maintains some of the Red Bull team's traditions, such as the navy blue color and the brand logos around the car.
